Death toll from stampede at Guinea rap concert rises to 34, medical staff say
The death toll from a stampede at a beachside rap concert in Guinea's capital celebrating the end of Ramadan has risen to 34, medical staff say.
Hundreds of people gathered at the Donka hospital in predominantly Muslim Guinea's capital, Conakry, to visit the injured and identify the dead.
A reporter for Reuters news agency saw the bodies of three children among the dead, while witnesses put the number at around 10.
