Kangaroo Island boat capsize plunges seven people into water
Efforts are underway to rescue up to seven people who fell into the water after their boat capsized off Kangaroo Island south-west of Adelaide.
Police were alerted to the incident about 1:30pm and said those in the water were all believed to be wearing life jackets.SeaLink said it had diverted two of its ferries to the Pages islands, about seven kilometres off Kangaroo Island, to assist with the rescue.It said its regular ferry services would be delayed as a result.It is believed a yacht in the area is also assisting with the rescue.
