EXCLUSIVE: Clinton's emails

EXCLUSIVE: Hillary Clinton's emails packed with America's secrets.

Tech guru: Hillary Clinton traveled to California this week to launch her policies on technology - but her own server arrangements are open to question. A company which stored her emails is accused of lax security

  • Hillary Clinton has had her presidential campaign dogged and led to an FBI probe into her handling of classified material
  • Questions have been raised over whether the secrets could have been hacked by foreign spies because server lacked official protection

  • Datto Inc held emails for almost three years but whistleblowers say it was hacked itself and customers complained about seeing other clients' data
  • Staff did not have to change passwords, left unsupervised computers unlocked .
  • No comment form Clinton campaign on what they knew about Datto Inc
  • Hillary Clinton is facing damaging new revelations about the lax security surrounding her emails.
  • The 30,000 emails of which Clinton deleted, are now part of an FBI investigation into her handling of classified material while she was Secretary of State.
A total of 22 have been deemed to contain top secret material - out of 2,075 found to contain classified material - and questions have mounted about whether her account was successfully hacked, which the Clinton campaign claims did not happen.

  • What is known is that Datto were contracted in May 2013 by Platte River Networks to store a backup of the contents of the 'homebrew' Clinton email.com server.
Datto was involved in the handling of Clinton's emails from May 2013 until around August 2015, when the FBI seized them. A Datto source said the company did not know at the time that it had been backing up Clinton's server,

  • Datto was named last October as the second data storage company to be investigated by the FBI over what threat Clinton's server posed to national security

  • A former partner of Datto also claimed the company had a 'shocking level of incompetence'.
  • He recalled how employees regularly left their unoccupied computers unlocked – even though they had internet access to clients' confidential information.
There was no company policy on changing passwords or password expiration dates.
'Someone could walk in off the street, sit down at a desk, get to the Datto portal and start deleting data,'

David Cameron says Britain "will not and should not" turn its back on Europe as it leaves the European Union.

After discussing the vote to leave with other EU leaders, he said trade and security co-operation would be vital whatever the shape of future links.
But he said immigration was a "great concern" among UK voters and squaring this with access to the EU single market would be a "huge challenge".
Germany's Angela Merkel said the EU must "respect the result" of the vote
But German politicians have insisted the UK cannot "cherry-pick" aspects of the EU.
Earlier on Tuesday, Chancellor Merkel said the UK must accept free movement if it wanted to retain access to the single market.
Mrs Merkel said the Brexit vote had been discussed "very intensively and deeply" at the dinner meeting with EU leaders.
"We all regretted the result and made clear that the legal procedure must be that the UK invokes Article 50.

A motion of no confidence in Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has been passed by the party's MPs.

The 172-40 vote, which is not binding, follows resignations from the shadow cabinet and calls on Mr Corbyn to quit.

The leader's allies have told his critics to trigger a formal leadership contest if they want to challenge him.

LABOUR:Jeremy Corbyn faces no-confidence motion from MPs

Jeremy Corbyn at rally in Parliament Square

Labour MPs are to vote on a motion of no confidence in the Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, as another party frontbencher quits their post.

This comes after Mr Corbyn told supporters at a rally outside Parliament to not "let those people who wish us ill divide us".
Shadow justice minister Andy Slaughter is the latest to leave his post, after a mass walkout from the shadow cabinet.
Shadow chancellor John McDonnell said Mr Corbyn was "not going anywhere".
He accused Mr Corbyn's opponents of trying to "subvert democracy", and said the party leader would stand in any election if a challenger came forward.
The no-confidence vote being held by Labour on Tuesday is not binding.
Mr Slaughter's resignation is different to the others, because he describes himself as a "comrade" of Mr Corbyn, and decided to resign only after consulting his local party activists, who agreed.

      Kim Jong Un

Kim Jong Un spends almost £29MILLION on cigarettes, cigars and cigarillos

Ciggie-loving tyrant Kim Jong un blew £28.7million on the finest tobacco for himself and his cronies as millions struggle for food in the hermit state.

The chubby despot ordered his minions to empty the coffers for cigarettes from China and Singapore
and £700,000 went on cigars and cigarillos.

He also spent £88,000 on second-hand machinery to roll rough home-grown tobacco, largely smoked
.by ordinary members of his impoverished nation

North Korea has the some of the highest levels of adult male smokers in the world with almost half
the men hooked on tobacco. It led to a propaganda campaign earlier this year to cut smoking.

Kim, 33, tried to give up himself and was not seen with a cigarette in public for three months.
But it did not last long as he was pictured touring a facility in the capital Pyongyang this month.
The anti-smoking campaign on state TV and other media was full of the enthusiastic support, with one interviewee saying: “People who start smoking first thing in the morning seem unhealthy and
      ignorant, causing discomfort to others.”
