NEWS:Russia blame Kiev.

Russia places blame with Kiev.

Russia has fought back against claims of its involvement in the downing of MH17, instead implying the government in Kiev might be responsible.
Russian deputy defence minister Anatoly Antonov went on national television to reel off a list of 10 "simple" questions for the Ukrainian government, which he said were key to determining who shot down the Malaysian airline.
"Answers to these questions would allow all of us, not only in Russia but also in the West and the east, in Asia, to try and find an answer to the most important question: what happened in the sky over Ukraine and what we need to do so that this does not happen again," Mr Antonov said.
Since the plane went down, the remains of 298 people lie uncovered. Citizens of 11 nations, none of whom are involved in the conflicts in eastern Ukraine, cannot be laid to rest. Their lives were taken by violence. Now violence stops them being accorded their final respect. This cannot continue.
He said Kiev should release details regarding its alleged use of Buk missile systems in eastern Ukraine, and explain why they were being operated if separatists do not possess aircraft.
The Russian defence ministry on Friday claimed that the radars of Ukraine's Buk missile systems - the weapon thought to have been used to shoot down the jet - were in use on the day of the crash.
He also wondered why Ukrainian air-traffic controllers had allowed the passenger jet to stray to the north, in the direction of a conflict zone.
Both Russia and Ukrainian forces have variants of the Buk, a surface-to-air missile believed to be the most likely culprit for the downing of the jet.
President Barack Obama called the loss of flight MH17 a "wake-up call" to Europe to join the United States in threatening Moscow with heavier economic sanctions if it does not use its influence to help end a conflict that has driven the gravest East-West confrontation since the Cold War.
Russia's foreign ministry says Moscow will retaliate after Washington imposes new sanctions over Ukraine and will also impose visa restrictions on a similar number of US citizens.

NEWS:bodies and evidence removed

Malaysia Airlines MH17: Claims bodies and evidence removed from Ukraine crash site by Russian separatists.

Ukraine government has accused pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine of trying to destroy evidence at the crash site of MH17, saying rebels have taken 38 bodies from the site.
The Malaysia Airlines flight was shot down on Friday over eastern Ukraine, close to the border with Russia.
"The government of Ukraine officially states that the terrorists, with the help of Russia, are trying to destroy evidence of international crimes," the Ukraine government said in a statement.
"According to government data, the terrorists have taken 38 bodies to the morgue in Donetsk," it said, accusing specialists with "strong Russian accents" of threatening to carry out their own autopsies.
Separatist forces were also blocking access to the site for Ukrainian investigators and international observers, and searching for lorries to transport the wreckage to Russia, the statement claimed.
Valentyn Nalyvaichenko, head of Ukraine's security service, said talks between officials from Russia, Ukraine and the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe were continuing, in a bid set up a 20 square kilometre region as part of a "humanitarian mission" to move the bodies.
"We agreed on the 20 square kilometres, a concrete zone, and we hope the terrorists will allow us to work," Ukraine's UNIAN news agency quoted Mr Nalyvaichenko as saying.
However, Sergei Kavtaradze, a senior official of the pro-Russian rebels' self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, said despite the discussions, no agreement had been reached.
"There is no security zone. It is in a region near the front. There is military activity there," Mr Kavtaradze said.
An AFP news crew at the scene of the crash said armed rebels were preventing journalists from accessing the site and shot in the air to warn them back.
Quite who controls what around the site is unclear. Rebel forces, who have declared a Donetsk People's Republic in the Russian-speaking east and want union with Moscow, have set up cordons and checkpoints around the area.

GOLF; THE British Open

Adam Scott's British Open chances slip away as Rory McIlroy leads by three shots midway through third round at Royal Liverpool.

Australia's Adam Scott tees off to start his third round at the British Open.
Adam Scott's British Open hopes were left hanging at a rain-swept Royal Liverpool as Rory McIlroy kept a pack of chasers at bay midway through the third round.
While the likes of Rickie Fowler, Charl Schwartzel, Dustin Johnson and Sergio Garcia were defying dour conditions to keep pressure on overnight leader McIlroy, Scott failed to make any inroads as he opened with nine straight pars.
Torrential rain drenched the course at Hoylake on Friday night with the atrocious weather prompting organisers to use a two-tee start for the first time in the tournament's history to account for expected delays.
Players also teed off in groups of three rather than the customary two for weekends, however play continued uninterrupted into the early afternoon.
McIlroy led by four shots at 12-under-par overnight but there was an immediate two-shot swing as he found a greenside bunker and dropped a shot at the first hole as second-placed playing partner Dustin Johnson opened with a birdie.
With conditions still favourable for scoring, Fowler and Garcia made moves up the leaderboard by early afternoon to trail McIlroy by three with Schwartzel, Johnson, Frenchman Victor Dubuisson and American Jim Furyk also prominent in the chasing pack.
Australia's prospects looked to be fading, however, though Marc Leishman remained at his overnight score of 3-under as he countered a double bogey with two birdies.
Scott was again striking the ball solidly but unable to get his belly putter firing to convert some decent birdie opportunities.

NEW ON China road accident: Xinhua.

At least 38 killed in fiery China road accident: Xinhua.

At least 38 people were killed when a van carrying inflammable liquid hit a bus on a highway in central China early Saturday, state media reported.
The collision in Hunan province triggered a fire and explosion which destroyed five vehicles, the Xinhua news agency said.
Another five people were injured in the accident, which occurred at around 3:00 am, Xinhua said, citing police.
The fire was finally put out by about 8:00 am.
The double-decker long-distance bus, with capacity for 53 occupants, was travelling between the eastern coastal province of Fujian and Guizhou in the southwest when the crash occurred.
Senior work safety and transport ministry officials and police were heading to the site to investigate, Xinhua said.
Fatal road accidents are a serious problem in China, where the highway network and number of new drivers are expanding rapidly while traffic laws and safety are widely flouted.

NEW.MONTH PYTHON FILM.

The original stars of cult comedy Monty Python look set to reunite once more for a new movie.
The cast are teaming up again for film Absolutely Anything, with Terry Jones set to direct the project.
John Cleese, Terry Gilliam and Michael Palin are all said to be voicing characters of a group of aliens in the film who grant wishes to humans for laughs.
Reuniting: The stars of Monty Python are sett o team up once more to voice characters in new movie Absolutely Anything - although Eric Idle is yet to be confirmed

Although fellow original member Eric Idle is yet to confirm whether he will be part of the reunion.
But it seems unlikely as he's previously rubbished ideas of a reformation when the Pythons appeared in A Liar's Autobiography, another animated movie about late Python Graham Chapman's life story.
He wrote on Twitter about the 2012 project: 'Not written by Python, just passing off as a Python movie... and Python is about writing. Three or four doing a few minutes voiceover doesn't make it Python.'

US:OBAMA ON Malaysia Airlines MH17:

Barack Obama

Barack Obama at press conference about downed Ukraine jet

Here is what we know so far. Evidence indicates that the plane was shot down by a surface-to-air missile that was launched from an area that is controlled by Russian-backed separatists inside of Ukraine.
We know that this is not the first time a plane has been shot down in eastern Ukraine. Over the last several weeks, Russian-backed separatists have shot down a Ukrainian transport plane and a Ukrainian fighter jet.
Moreover, we know that these separatists have received a steady flow of support from Russia. This includes arms and training. It includes heavy weapons. And it includes anti-aircraft weapons.
When asked directly how much Russian president Vladimir Putin should be blamed for the disaster, Mr Obama again directly linked the capabilities of the separatists in Ukraine's east with support from Russia.
We don't know exactly what happened yet, and I don't want to ... get out ahead of the facts. But what I do know ... is that we have seen a ticking up of violence in eastern Ukraine despite the efforts of the Ukrainian government to abide by a ceasefire and to reach out and agree to negotiations, including with the separatists. That has been rebuffed by these separatists. We know that they [the separatists] are heavily armed and they are trained, and we know that's not an accident.
That is happening because of Russian support. So it is not possible for these separatists to function the way they're functioning, to have the equipment that they have - set aside what's happened with respect to the Malaysian Airlines [flight] - a group of separatists can't shoot down military transport planes or, [as] they claim, shoot down fighter jets without sophisticated equipment and sophisticated training, and that is coming from Russia.

The Russian president says the "awful tragedy" would not have happened if military action had not resumed in southeast Ukraine.

President Putin has blamed Ukraine for the tragedy in which 298 people on Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 died after the plane was allegedly shot down over eastern Ukraine.
"This tragedy would not have happened if there were peace on this land, if the military actions had not been renewed in southeast Ukraine," the Russian president said.
"And, certainly, the state over whose territory this occurred bears responsibility for this awful tragedy."
Later, Mr Putin telephoned Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte to offer his "sincere condolences" to the country, which lost 189 citizens in the crash.
The Russian premier also said he had instructed his government to "do everything for a thorough investigation of this event".

Pro-Russian separatists are being blamed for the attack, which left bodies and smouldering wreckage scattered across fields.
A team of 17 investigators from the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe were allowed to examine the wreckage for about 75 minutes, before being forced out by gunmen.
"They did not have the freedom of movement that they need to do their job," OSCE chairman Thomas Greminger told Reuters by telephone.
"The crash site is not sealed off. In the current circumstances, they were not able to help securing this corridor that would allow access for those that would want to investigate."
