Bubonic plague in China: Town of Yumen sealed off after man killed.
A TOWN of 30,000 people in China has been sealed off after a man died of the bubonic plague.
There are reports that residents are not allowed to leave Yumen in the north-western Chinese province of Gansu, with police roadblocks set up around its perimeter.
“The city has enough rice, flour and oil to supply all its residents for up to one month,” state broadcaster China Central Television (CCTV) reported.
