Putin visit: Japan senses 'pressure' from US
Putin-- The Obama administration is on edge over Japan's plans to welcome Russian President Vladimir Putin for a state visit this autumn.

The European Union has hardened its stance in the wake of the recent downing of a Malaysia Airlines passenger jet. Some in the Japanese government have floated plans to delay Putin's visit.
