Passenger Throws Prosthetic Leg At Cabin Crew


A Thomson Airways flight from Tunisia to Edinburgh is diverted after a woman shouts abuse at air crew.

A plane had to be diverted to Gatwick Airport after a woman threw her prosthetic leg at cabin crew and shouted abuse at them.
Sussex Police said the trouble began on Wednesday night when the 48-year-old woman started "swearing blue murder" and throwing food at crew on Thomson Airlines flight 297.
The flight, which was heading from Enfidha in Tunisia to Edinburgh, was diverted to Gatwick after the captain became alarmed.
The woman, who is unemployed and from Edinburgh, was arrested by police at the North Terminal at 10.22pm on Wednesday.
She was questioned by officers on suspicion of using threatening behaviour at Crawley police station.
