MH17: Malaysia Airlines retires flight number after Ukraine crash.
Malaysia Airlines will be no longer use the MH17 flight code for its Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur service after last week's crash.
The airline made a similar decision this year when it retired the MH370 code after the disappearance of its Kuala Lumpur to Beijing flight.
Malaysia Airlines says it will continue daily flights between Kuala Lumpur and Amsterdam with the new code MH19.
"In light of the recent incident, [the] ... MH17 flight number will be retired out of respect for our crew and passengers of the mentioned flight code. This will take effect on 25 July, 2014," it said in a statement.
