Russia starts military exercises, including anti-aircraft missile drills, near Ukraine border
Russia has announced new military exercises involving bombers and fighter jets in a show of strength near the border with Ukraine.
Russia planes and helicopters will take part in the manoeuvres from Monday until Friday in central and western districts, a Russian air force spokesman was quoted by Interfax news agency as saying on Monday
Russia spokesman, Igor Klimov, said the exercises were the first in a series to improve military coordination.
